A piece that begins with you.
Every Pashmirah begins with an idea – YOURS.
An emotion, a colour, a memory, or simply the wish to create something that exists nowhere else.
We invite you to commission your own Pashmirah: a piece imagined with you, and brought to life by the elite artisans of Kashmir who have dedicated their lives to preserving the soul of Kashmiri handcraft.

The Making of Your Pashmirah
1. Choose Your Base: The Weave and Fibre
Your Pashmirah begins with pure, certified Pashmina wool. You may choose the weave structure – from classic twill, intricate diamond, or heritage-inspired patterns.
If you wish, the yarn can be hand-dyed into your preferred hue, soft natural tones, deep jewel shades, or the undyed purity of raw Pashmina.
Each base is woven in Kashmir on traditional wooden looms by generational artisans, following GI-certified practices that ensure authenticity and integrity at every thread.

2. Shape Your Design: From Vision to Pattern
Share your inspiration – a motif, a feeling, a family heritage design, or something entirely new.
Our design studio works closely with you to interpret your vision into a design that honours both your intent and the craft’s timeless spirit.
Samples are created for your review before the work begins.

Shape Every Detail to Perfection
3. Select Your Embroidery: The Art of the Needle
Once your base is woven, you may select from a wide range of hand-embroidery traditions – Sozni, Tilla, Aari, Kalamkari, Jalakdozi, Kani embroidery, and others. Each technique lends a distinct rhythm, depth, and character to the piece.
You may choose to incorporate initials, crests, verses, symbols, or personal motifs, all drawn by hand and embroidered by master craftsmen using original tools and age-old methods.

4. Define the Finishing Details
The finishing defines the final character of your Pashmirah.
You may select:
Hand-knotted or twisted fringes
Silk or tonal Pashmina borders
Subtle edge embroidery or hand-sewn hemming
Weight and drape preferences – from ethereal light to heirloom thickness
Every element is discussed with you before finalisation, ensuring perfect harmony between your preferences and the craft’s natural flow.

5. The Custodian of Your Piece
Once commissioned, your Pashmirah is entrusted to a Craft Keeper – an expert responsible for overseeing its creation from the first spin of yarn to the final inspection.
Your Craft Keeper ensures that every artisan involved – spinner, weaver, embroiderer, and finisher -works in continuity, preserving the integrity, finesse, and fidelity of your piece at every stage.

6. The Final Presentation
Upon completion, your Pashmirah undergoes a final hand-finishing process – soft steaming, air resting, and delicate pressing to allow the fibres to settle naturally.
It is then presented in exclusive Pashmirah archival packaging – handcrafted with natural fibres, wrapped in muslin, and designed to preserve your piece as an heirloom for generations.
